Brownie In A Mug (Eggless)


 

This is a perfect recipe for late night cravings for something sweet and chocolatey. It is the quickest recipe for a brownie I’ve ever known. And it’s EGGLESS too. No patience needed.. 😉

So let’s get started.

 

Preparation time: 5 mins        Baking Time: 1 ½ mins            Serves: 1

 

All you need:

  • All Purpose Flour – ¼ cup
  • Granulated Sugar – ¼ cup
  • Salt – a pinch
  • Cocoa Powder – 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla Essence – ¼ tsp
  • Milk – ¼ cup
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Walnuts – a few chopped finely (optional)

 

A Few Tips:

  1. The watt of every microwave is slightly different. My microwave takes about 1 ½ minutes to bake the brownie, yours might take less or maybe a few seconds more. But be sure not to overcook it.

 

Method:

  1. In a microwave safe mug, mix all the dry ingredients, i.e. flour, sugar, salt, cocoa powder and walnuts.
  2. Now mix in the milk and oil. Make sure you combine the dry & wet ingredients very well.
  3. Tap the mug lightly and sprinkle a few walnuts on the top.
  4. Microwave for 1 minute. Insert a toothpick in the brownie to check if its cooked properly. If not microwave for another 30 seconds.

Voila!!!! Your Brownie is ready. Enjoy it hot with some vanilla ice-cream.
